Crews responded to reports of the rear end of a bin wagon on fire in Main Street, Leavening, earlier today (Friday).
The crews, from Kirkbymoorside and Acomb, extinguished and dampened down the contents using a hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots and the incident was left with the council.
