One of York's most popular restaurants is raising a glass to summer with the launch of a new outdoor dining experience.
Lucia, in Swinegate, York, has unveiled its new terrace—an al fresco space blending Italian cuisine and champagne in partnership with Veuve Clicquot.
The move marks the start of Lucia’s new seasonal terrace programme, with more transformations planned for autumn and winter.
Darioush Shahidi, operations director, said: "For 18 years, Lucia has been part of York’s dining scene, and our terrace has always been at the heart of the experience.
'This is just the beginning'
He added: "This collaboration with Veuve Clicquot is a natural evolution of that space and reflects our commitment to continually investing in the restaurant and creating memorable experiences for our guests.
"We’re already working on exciting seasonal concepts that will see the terrace transformed throughout the year, giving guests something new to discover every season"
