THIEVES have targeted a York suburban street and made off with a powerful motorcycle.
North Yorkshire Police said a black and white Kawasaki ZR800 was stolen from Surtees Street in Clifton overnight from Wednesday, July 22 into Thursday, July 23.
A force spokesperson said the motorbike also has a green trim on each of its wheels.
The bike was stolen from outside its owner's address.
The spokesperson said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious, or seen this bike being wheeled off across these two dates to contact us.
"North Yorkshire Police can be contacted via 101 and please quote reference 12260140468."
