A care home in Boroughbridge brought a taste of the Wild West with a cowboy-themed summer celebration.
Boroughbridge Manor marked the National Day of the Cowboy on July 25, giving residents and staff the chance to enjoy the sights and sounds of classic cowboy culture.
This year marks the 25th National Day of the Cowboy, to celebrate the culture and heritage of the American cowboys.
At the care home, residents enjoyed live country and western music performed by Emma James, with some even joining in on the dance floor for a country-themed boogie.
Lynette Sellers, general manager at Boroughbridge Manor, said: "We had a wonderful day celebrating National Day of the Cowboy.
"The residents, staff and relatives enjoyed taking part, and there were smiles all around.
"It really was a fun-filled day for all."
