Man dies as three other adults and five children injured in crash
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man died following a serious crash in West Yorkshire on Wednesday (July 30).
The collision happened on Doncaster Road near Nostell, between Lidget Lane and Foulby Farm, shortly after 2pm, police said.
A black Ford Galaxy Zetec being driven in the general direction of Nostell collided with a white Volkswagen Touran R-Line which was being driven in the opposite direction.
The passenger of the Ford Galaxy was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The man, aged in his 70s, died on Thursday July 30.
The driver of the Galaxy, a woman aged in her 70s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Two adults and five children who were travelling in the Touran suffered injuries that are not believed to be life threatening, police said.
