Man arrested on suspicion of burglary after theft of cattle in North Yorkshire
A man in his 30s from the West Yorkshire area has been arrested on suspicion of burglary after the reported theft of cattle in North Yorkshire.
The arrest follows the theft of a number of cattle from the Ripley area on Sunday night (July 26).
The man arrested remains in police custody while enquiries continue, police said.
The farmer has been updated and arrangements are now being made for the safe return of the cattle.
