Police launch urgent search to find missing teenage girl, 15, from York

POLICE are searching for a missing 15-year-old girl from York.

Lexi was last seen at home in Acomb at around 3pm on Wednesday (July 29).

North Yorkshire Police said they are becoming increasingly concerned for her welfare.

She is described as white, around 6 foot tall, of slim build with shoulder-length, straight brown hair.

She may be wearing a black top with white logo on the front and black trousers and may be carrying a satchel-style shoulder bag and a black walking stick or cane with stickers on it

It comes as police launch a separate search to find another missing teenage girl, Nancy, also from York.

Lexi is known to spend time in the Hob Moor area of Acomb but may be anywhere in York, a police spokesperson said.
