Firefighters are tackling a blaze in the Selby area this evening (Thursday).
They are at the scene of a fire on land off Cross Hills Lane.
Police are also at the incident.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “Local residents are advised to keep their windows closed and members of the public are asked to avoid the area, particularly the access route to Cross Hills Lane.
“Thank you for your understanding while the fire service work to bring the fire under control.”
The fire service was called to Cross Hills Farm at 4.14pm.
A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Multiple crews from York, Tadcaster, Acomb and Garforth are currently in attendance at an fire on farmland. This incident is still ongoing.”
