Police are investigating after an elderly woman was targeted by a gang in York.
Three women approached the victim on Merchantgate at 12.30pm on Friday 5 June.
The women were Asian and aged between 40 and 60.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: “The victim reported being coerced into giving up thousands of pounds in jewellery and cash.

“Can you help us to identify and locate one of the women in this image?
“We’re also urging people to come forward if any of the three women have made similar approaches.”
