A MAN in his 50s has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a crash in East Yorkshire.
It comes after the suspect was recorded as more than three times over the legal alcohol limit on a roadside breath test in Elsie Street, Goole on Wednesday (July 29).
A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “We were first called to reports of a single-vehicle road traffic collision at around 3.40pm, thankfully, no members of the public were injured as a result.
“Officers attended and requested the driver, a 57-year-old man, to take a roadside breath test, of which he failed.
“He was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and transported to custody where he remains assisting with our enquiries at this time.”
