North Yorkshire Council has announced temporary traffic prohibitions on Paul’s Row, Spital Street, and Yorkersgate, with closures beginning on August 3rd.
The works are expected to last for a week, but access to premises along these roads will be maintained.
Traffic signs will indicate the closure period, and alternative routes will be signposted where appropriate.

In a separate notice, Barney Lane in Flaxton is set to be closed for five days due to disconnection works.
This closure is scheduled to start on August 18th and run until August 22nd, with the maximum duration of the order extending until November 18.
M Group Water, on behalf of Yorkshire Water, will handle all inquiries related to the Flaxton closure.
