A popular Japanese exhibition will be open for additional days during the summer holidays for people to experience its "incredible" works.
York Art Gallery's Making Waves: The Art of Japanese Woodblock Print exhibition will remain open for two extra days in August.
It will be open on Tuesday, August 4, and Tuesday, August 18, from 10am to 5pm, in addition to usual hours of Wednesday to Sunday.
The extension allows more time to see the works before the exhibition ends on August 30, 2026.
The gallery is also hosting a variety of craft activities based on the exhibition throughout August.

Making Waves has attracted over 40,000 visitors, showcasing iconic artworks like Hokusai's The Great Wave.
Tickets are available online or can be bought at the gallery on the day.
York Art Gallery's collection spans more than 600 years, featuring 14th-century Italian panels, 17th-century Dutch masterpieces, Victorian narrative paintings, and 20th-century works by LS Lowry and David Hockney.
The gallery also boasts the most extensive collection of British Studio Ceramics, thanks to the acquisition of collections from Dean Milner–White.
