Tribute to woman found dead in Yorkshire flat at the weekend

A tribute has been paid to a woman who was found dead in a Yorkshire flat at the weekend.

Tracy Davenport has been described as someone who lit up any room she walked into in a tribute released by her family via West Yorkshire Police.

The 58-year-old was found in a flat by police officers after attending Cottingley Towers in Leeds following reports of a concern for safety the early hours of Saturday (Jul 25).

Colin Mann, 52, of Cottingley Towers, has been charged with her murder and appeared at court earlier this week.

The tribute said: “A tribute to the most beautiful, kind, caring mother, sister, aunty, nana, niece and daughter.

“Tracy would help anybody and put everybody before herself, she would give you her last penny. Tracy lit up any room she walked into.

“A beautiful woman took too soon in the most horrific, unspeakable manor.

“Tracy, aka mum, you will be forever loved and missed forever more. There are no words to describe the void that this tragedy has left and can never again be filled.

“Love you always Alison, Adian and family.”
