A combined harvester has burst into flames in York with firefighters called to the scene.
Two fire crews were called to the blaze near the York outer ring road at Haxby shortly after 3.30pm on Wednesday (July 29).
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the crews used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire then used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
In a statement, the fire service said: “Crews from York and Acomb were mobilised to reports of a combine harvester on fire.
“Crews extinguished using one hose reel jet and a thermal imagining camera to check for hotspots, advice was given to the farmer.”
