Driver taken to hospital following three-vehicle collision on A1(M) near Knaresborough

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information and witnesses following a three-vehicle collision on a major road near Knaresborough.

The incident happened at around 11.19am on Friday, July 24 on the A1(M) northbound, just prior to Junction 47.

It involved a white Tesla, a white Mercedes Sprinter and a white Volkswagen Transporter.

The driver of the Tesla was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment following the collision.

A spokesperson at North Yorkshire Police said: “We are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, seen the vehicles prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dash cam footage.
