Sky customers can now watch hundreds of reality TV shows at no extra cost.

From today (July 29), eligible customers can now access more than 250 shows through Hayu, a streaming service known for reality programmes such as The Real Housewives and Below Deck, without extra cost or a separate subscription.

The integration means Sky Ultimate TV customers and all Sky Q and Sky+ pay TV customers will have on-demand access to full seasons of popular series, alongside the latest episodes released on the same day as in the US.

Sky gives customers free access to Hayu

Reality fans can watch every season of their favourite shows on Hayu, including The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Below Deck Mediterranean, and a 20th anniversary season of The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Hayu's entertainment will all be included as part of the Sky TV subscription, with no additional apps or logins needed.

The launch follows a "Taste of Hayu" preview offered to Sky Ultimate TV customers in March, and now extends full access to Sky Q and Sky+ users as well.

Hayu content is built directly into the Sky TV experience, making it easy for eligible customers to discover and enjoy the best reality TV alongside other entertainment shows.

Users can discover Hayu titles through personalised recommendations, continue watching from where they left off, or find shows using voice commands such as "Hello Sky, play Below Deck Mediterranean" or "watch Hayu".

On Sky Glass and Sky Stream, viewers can add Hayu shows to their Playlist alongside content from other channels and services.

The Sky Ultimate TV package, priced from £24 per month, already includes Sky TV, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu in a single subscription.

Sky says the addition of Hayu further strengthens its line-up of "unmissable entertainment," which also features Sky Originals and exclusives such as Katie Price: Nothing to Hide and Five Star Weekend.

Customers can also access content on the go through Sky Go and enjoy the convenience of having all major streaming platforms in one place.

Sky shuts down sports channel after 13 years

The news comes as Sky shut down a popular sports channel after 13 years, at the start of this month.

While one channel is shutting down, other temporary ones are coming, with TV guide changes common for customers.

The major change for viewers is the closing of TNT Sports.

Formerly BT Sport, TNT Sports was first launched in 2013 and regularly shows the likes of football, boxing, rugby, and more.

Which are the best streaming services available in the UK?

The brand's channels are available on EE TV, Sky and Virgin Media in the UK.

HBO Max launched in the UK in March, replacing Discovery+ as the streaming home for TNT Sports.

However, after 13 years, the Standard Definition (SD) broadcast for TNT Sports has been shut down by Sky.

It comes as the broadcaster continues its gradual switch to High Definition (HD).
