A recently-renovated East Coast hotel is back on the market at a reduced rate.
The Delmont Hotel at 18/20 Blenheim Terrace, Scarborough, is now being marketed by Christie & Co for £1.5 million freehold.
This follows several other major hotels in Scarborough recently coming on to the market.
In November 2024, CPH Commercial were seeking offers in the region of £1.85million for the Delmont Hotel.

At the time they said the current owners were midway through a renovation, having upgraded 20 of the 49 bedrooms.
Now, Christie & Co are highlighting the hotel’s “excellent profits over £250,000” and “superb sea and coastal views.” It also enjoys “coach trade, weddings, parties.”
The agents said the hotel has five floors, including the basement, with the bedrooms situated on the first, second and third floors.
The ground floor has public areas, including a function room able to seat 100 which is used for parties and weddings. The restaurant seats 40 and the public bar/lounge seats 20.

The sales details said: “The catering kitchen is extremely large and well equipped and ideally situated next to the function room and restaurant and the there is also a reception and office.
“The bedrooms are located on the ground to the third floors, all have en-suite, many have sea views and most are either double or twin with seven single rooms.”
The hotel is run ‘hands on’ by the owners with 21 staff listed as either full-time or on zero hour contracts.
The agents continued: “The most recent accounts on file are from May 2025 and show a turnover of £669,000 producing adjusted net profits of circa £273,000.”
They added: “2026 accounts are awaited however the sellers expect substantially better figures. Booked trade for 2027 is also looking extremely healthy. Occupancy levels are available on request and allow some scope for improvement and room rates range from £58 off season to £102 in summer months.”
