Man, 83, dies after Vauxhall Corsa crashes into two parked cars

A man in his 80s has died after the vehicle he was in crashed into two parked cars.

Humberside Police said officers were called to Richmond Road in Hull at around 3.50pm on Monday (Jul 27) following reports of a collision.

A statement by the force said a silver Vauxhall Corsa had crashed into two parked cars - a white Kia Ceed and a blue Hyundai i30 - near to the junction with Beverley Road.

Emergency services attended and the driver of the Corsa was taken to hospital.

The 83-year-old man died a short time after arriving.

The statement added: “His family have been informed and are being supported by specialist trained officers at this time.

“If anyone witnessed the collision, has any dashcam or CCTV footage that may assist officers with ongoing enquiries, please contact our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 350 of July 27.”
