FIREFIGHTERS from across the county have been called to a large crop fire in North Yorkshire.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service says its crews from Sherburn, two from Scarborough, Malton, and Robin Hood's Bay have been called to a fire on a farm in Bridlington Road, Hunmanby, Filey at 4.20pm today (July 28).

They were joined by Bridlington’s crew, Leyburns argocat, and Boroughbridge water bowser.
National Rail added that no trains are able to run between Bridlington and Scarborough as the fire has blocked the line.
In an updated post, they added: "The fire covers approximately 20 acres. Firefighters are working alongside local farmers using water bowsers to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further.
"Please avoid the area and keep roads clear to allow emergency vehicles access."
