EMERGENCY services were called to a 'concern for safety incident' at a property in a North Yorkshire town earlier today (Tuesday),
As reported by the Gazette & Herald, multiple vehicles from North Yorkshire Police and Yorkshire Ambulance Service attended the scene in Commercial Street, Norton.
The air ambulance was also spotted flying overhead, but it did not land in the town.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “At 11.07am today (Tuesday 28 July 2026) we were contacted by the Ambulance Service regarding a concern for safety incident at an address on Commercial Street, Norton.
“Officers attended the location and assisted before the individual was left in the care of the Ambulance Service.”
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Ambulance Service said: "Ambulance resources responded to a concern for safety incident at a property on Commercial Street, Norton on Tuesday morning."
All emergency vehicles had left the scene by 1.30pm.
