TWO trees have been set alight in a York suburb with residents reporting seeing flames from a distance.
Reports suggest that there is currently a fire burning close to Orchard Park, Huntington this afternoon (July 28) with one resident reporting seeing flames.

"Crews are dampening down now to the rear of two properties in Huntington where trees had been on fire. Advice has been given to the occupiers. Crews from York and Acomb had attended. It did not affect the houses," said a spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
