A FIRE has been deliberately set in a York suburb.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said a crew from York were called to Burnholme Drive in Tang Hall around 8.50pm yesterday (Monday, July 27).
A service spokesperson said it was a small fire made up of sticks and leaves which crews were able to put out with knapsack sprayers.
The spokesperson said the fire had been started deliberately.
