York Museum Gardens is opening its gates for two exclusive after-hours evenings this August.
On Friday, August 14 and August 28, the gardens will welcome guests from 6.30pm to 9.30pm for a relaxed, adults-only experience.
The gardens, which usually close at 5pm, will offer a unique opportunity to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and historical ambience after dark.
The events, known as Evening in the Gardens, will feature live music, street food, and cocktails, all set against the picturesque backdrop of the ruins of St Mary's Abbey.
A spokesperson for the York Museum Gardens said: "Whether it's a date night, an evening with friends or simply an opportunity to experience one of York's most iconic spaces in a completely different way, Evening in the Gardens offers a unique summer evening in the heart of the city."
Tickets for the event are priced at £7.50, which includes a complimentary cocktail upon arrival.
Additional drinks and street food can be purchased throughout the evening, with the event open to those aged 18 and over.
Tickets are available now via the York Museum Gardens website.
