Police name woman allegedly murdered at Leeds tower flats as man to appear in court

A man will appear before magistrates on Monday charged with the murder of a woman in Leeds.

Colin Mann, 52 of Cottingley Towers, will appear before Monday morning’s session of Leeds Magistrates’ Court charged with the murder of Tracy Davenport, 58.

Mann, who self defines as white, British, was detained in police custody after being charged with the murder of Tracy at a flat in Cottingley Towers during the evening of Friday July 24.

Her family continues to be supported by specially trained officers and enquires into the murder remain ongoing by the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team, West Yorkshire Police said.
