North Yorkshire Police launch investigation after tools and machinery stolen from farm near Wetherby

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information and witnesses after tools and machinery stolen from farm near Wetherby.

The incident happened sometime between Monday 20 and Friday 24 July at The Barn at Ruddings Farm on Wetherby Lane in Kirk Deighton.

Offenders forced entry into a metal storage container before stealing a number of items, including tools, a generator, a water pump and a cement mixer.

A spokesperson at North Yorkshire Police said: “This is a rural location but we are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and may have seen anything unusual.”

The police are appealing for information and witnesses following a burglary at The Barn at Ruddings Farm on Wetherby Lane in Kirk Deighton near Wetherby

Officers are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw any unusual vehicles, unfamiliar people or suspicious activity around Ruddings Farm.

Residents and motorists are also being asked to check any CCTV, doorbell camera or dash cam footage recorded between Monday 20 and Friday 24 July that may assist the investigation.
