Village toilets closed in North Yorkshire as Yorkshire Water 'aware of problem'

THE public toilets in a North Yorkshire village are currently closed due to water issues.

The Lakeside public toilets in Thornton le Dale are shut due to issues with water flow.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Council which operates the toilets said: "The issues were caused by works carried out by Yorkshire Water.

"Yorkshire Water is aware of the problem, and we're working with them to identify how and when it will be resolved.

"Sorry for any inconvenience caused."
