Trains between York and a North Yorkshire coastal town are running normally following this morning's cancellations (Monday, July 27).
Overrunning engineering works blocked the York to Scarborough line.
TransPennine Express said services were subject to cancellations, delays or terminations where trains would return to York to set off later.
Just before 9am, the lines were cleared and services returned to normal.
